Homemade weight and fluid-reducing tea

Looking to lose weight or decrease swelling after surgery?

This is for you!

by Tai Brown • Taime out Massage Owner

Drinking pineapple tea is an excellent way to eliminate excess water in your body, along with various other impressive health benefits like:

Bromelain is the most well known active ingredient in pineapple, and it has been directly connected to reducing inflammation, which is why CSL Therapy experts suggest pineapple boiling often to their postOp-indur clients; it provides a nutritional value that store bought pineapple juice or even actual pineapple slices cant offer as the heightened vitamins are extracted from the skin peel and spiked root. While you can absolutely buy store-bought or dried pineapple tea, they lack the nutrients from curing one yourself.

If you want to lose weight or decrease swelling after surgery with pineapple tea, it is best to focus LESS on the actual fruit or fruit juice, and instead, create a diet routine of eating fresh pineapple chunks every 4 hours and sip tea from the extract of the pineapple plant every 1-2hours (the benefits are great even if you haven’t had surgery!)

HERE’S THE STEP-BY-STEP RECIPE:

Ingredients

* 1 pineapple peel, crown, scraps

* 1 sliced knob of fresh ginger

* 2 cinnamon sticks

* 2 lit water

* 1oz of honey

——

Process

1- Cut and simmer an entire ripe pineapple and its skin in 2 liters of water for 10min.

2- Add 2 cups of water to offset evaporation.

3- Add 2 cinnamon sticks for flavor, the sliced ginger knot, & honey. Steep for 5 minutes.

5- Add 4 tea bags to the boiling water and allow them to steep for 45 minutes.

5-Remove the tea bags.

6-Switch off stove and cover the pineapple tea for 2-3 minutes, serve/drink hot for best results but may be consumed at room temp or iced as well.

7-Drink as needed til finished. Repeat if desired/needed.
